An autorickshaw driver has been found dead in Kawasoti Mmunicipality of Nawalpur on Tuesday.
Madhav Prasad Giri, 52, from ward 13 of the municipality was found dead in a swampy ditch close to his house.
Ward chair Binod Rana Magar told bishwopati reporter that the Giri’s body was found buried in the swampy ditch. “His autorickshaw is on the right side of the road while his body is on the swamp covered by leaves,” informed Magar.
Magar said that Giri had left his house after some unidentified people came and asked him to drop them off.
Local police’s preliminary investigation hints at murder.
DSP Dilip Kumar Giri from Nawalpur Police informed they had removed the corpse from the ditch and had started their investigation. He added they had called for a trained sniffer dog from the Bagmati Provincial Police Office to assist them on this type of condition and also case too.
