मधेस प्रदेशमा आज सार्वजनिक बिदा!!

धनुषा – प्रदेशको नाम र राजधानी तोक्न सफल भएको खुशीयालीमा मधेस सरकारले मङ्गलबार प्रदेशभर सार्वजनिक बिदा घोषणा गरेको छ ।
सोमबार मतदान प्रक्रियाबाट प्रदेशको नाम ‘मधेस’ र राजधानी ‘जनकपुरधाम’ तय भएको खुसीयालीमा सरकारले माघ ४ गते मंगलबार सार्वजनिक बिदा दिने घोषणा गरेको सरकारका प्रवक्ता तथा अर्थमन्त्री शैलेन्द्रप्रसाद साहले जानकारी दिए ।
संघीय संरचना गएपछि नेपालका सात प्रदेश मध्ये अब प्रदेश १ ले मात्रै आफ्नो नाम र राजधानी तोक्न बाँकी छ ।

Boris Johnson has ‘run out of road’ as pressure mounts to Resign!!

Boris Johnson is facing calls to resign as his former chief adviser Dominic Cummings claims the prime minister knew in advance about a bring your own booze party at Downing Street during the first COVID lockdown.

Durham University Law School Dean Thom Brooks says he “strongly” doubts Mr Johnson will be able to remain in the top job for much longer.

“He’s really run out of road here – not only has he had a number of his own backbenchers put in requests for him to resign publicly, as well as many more privately, but he’s really lost the public on all this stuff,” he told Sky News Australia..
Professor Brooks said Labour is now 13 per cent ahead of the Conservatives in the polls and there is growing concern for the Tories as local elections start.

सिड्नीमा एक नेपाली विद्यार्थी मृत फेला!!

अष्ट्रेलियाको सिड्नीमा बस्दै आएकी एक नेपाली युवती मृत अवस्थामा फेला परेकी छन्। सिड्नीस्थित अर्चामनमा बसोबास गर्दै आएकी २२ वर्षिय सुस्मिता कपाली मृत अवस्थामा भेटिएकी हुन्।

काठमाडौंको कीर्तिपुर घर भएकी कपाली अध्ययनका लागि २ वर्षअघि अष्ट्रेलिया आएकी थिइन्। हाल एमपीएल पढिरहेकी उनको घटनाबारे न्यु साउथ वेल्स प्रहरीले अनुसन्धान गरिरहेको छ।

People in France must now be vaccinated to visit restaurants and sporting arenas!!

France’s parliament has approved a law that will exclude unvaccinated people from all restaurants, sports arenas and other venues as the central measure of government efforts to protect hospitals amid record numbers of COVID-19 infections driven by the highly contagious Omicron variant.

The National Assembly adopted the law by a vote of 215-58. Centrist president Emmanuel Macron had hoped to push the bill through faster, but it was slightly delayed due to resistance from politicians both on the right and left and hundreds of proposed amendments.More than 91 per cent of French adults are already fully vaccinated, and some critics have questioned whether the “vaccine pass” will make much of a difference.

Mr Macron’s government is hoping the new pass will be enough to limit the number of patients filling up strained hospitals nationwide without resorting to a new lockdown.

New confinement measures would strike another blow to the economy, and could also cloud Mr Macron’s chances of re-election in the 10 April presidential vote.

Up until now, a COVID-19 pass has been required in France to go to restaurants, cinemas, museums and many sites throughout the country, but unvaccinated people have been allowed in if they show a recent negative test or proof of recent recovery.

The new law requires full vaccination for such venues, including tourist sites, many trains and all domestic flights, and applies to everyone aged 16 and over.

Some exceptions could be made for those who have recently recovered from COVID-19.

The law also imposes tougher fines for fake passes and allows ID checks to avoid fraud.

More than 76 per cent of French ICU beds are occupied by coronavirus patients, most of them unvaccinated, and some 200 people with the virus are dying every day.

Like many countries, France is in the grip of an Omicron wave, recording more than 2800 positive cases per 100,000 people over the past week.

‘मधेश प्रदेश’!अब प्रदेश २ को नाम !!

जनकपुरधाम – झण्डै चार वर्षपछि प्रदेश २ को नामाकरण भएको छ। मधेश प्रदेशको पक्षमा ८० मत परेपछि दुई तिहाइ भन्दा बढी मतले प्रदेशको नाम कायम भएको छ।
तीन दलको संयुक्त प्रस्ताव मधेश प्रदेशका लागि भएको मतदानमा ९९ जनाले मतदान गरेकोमा ८० मत पक्षमा आएको छ।मधेश प्रदेश पारित भएपछि बाँकी प्रस्ताव निस्क्रिय भएको छ ।
सत्तारुढ दल जनता समाजवादी पार्टी, माओवादी केन्द्र र प्रमुख प्रतिपक्षी दल लोकतान्त्रिक समाजवादी पार्टीको संयुक्त प्रस्ताव मधेश प्रदेश छ ।
यस अघि आजकै बैठकमा प्रदेशको स्थायी राजधानी जनकपुरधाम दुई तिहाइ भन्दा बढीले पारित भएको छ । कुल मत ९९ खस्दा ७८ मत जनकपुरधामको पक्षमा परेको हो।

Russia demands Facebook unblock page linked to foreign Ministry!!

Russia’s media regulator is demanding Facebook “immediately” lift all restrictions on the official page of the country’s delegation for arms control talks in Vienna.

The Facebook page, which is affiliated with Russia’s foreign ministry, was taken down on Friday for publishing “illegal content”, according to delegation head Konstantin Gavrilov.

Media watchdog Roskomnadzor said on Sunday evening it had sent a letter to Meta, Facebook’s parent company “with the demand to immediately lift all restrictions” from the Facebook page and “explain the reasons for introducing them”.
Such actions of the administration of the Facebook social network violate the key principles of free distribution of information,” Roskomnadzor said.

The regulator added that it considered Facebook’s move an “act of censorship”.

The page was still unavailable on Monday morning.

Mr Gavrilov told state news agency TASS on Sunday that the delegation used the Facebook page to post statements from Russia’s leadership or the foreign ministry.

“This is a blatant act of censorship in the information space,” he said in a separate statement on Twitter.

In February 2021, the delegation’s account on Twitter was also temporarily blocked, TASS reported.

Russia has repeatedly fined US tech giants, including Meta, for ignoring content moderation requests as the country ramps up its control of internet platforms.

In December, Meta was slapped with its largest fine yet — the equivalent of $37 million — for repeatedly failing to delete illegal content.

Prince Harry serves ‘another blow’ to the Queen!!

Spiked Online’s Brendan O’Neill says Prince Harry will serve “another blow” to the Queen if he sues the government over police protection.

The British government has ruled the prince is unable to receive UK police protection, which he is now seeking a judicial review against.

Mr O’Neill said if Prince Harry were to sue, it would be the “first time” a member of the Royal Family has sued Her Majesty’s Government.

“When are Harry and Meghan going to stop attacking the Queen, and attacking their own family,” Mr O’Neill said.
They’ve already spilled the beans about them.

“They’re constantly pushing the woke agenda and criticising the Royal approach to life, and now there’s this potential they will sue Her Majesty’s Government for increased protection in the UK.”

आज बाट स्वस्थानी व्रत सुरु!!

काठमाण्डाै – हरेक वर्ष पौष शुक्ल पूर्णिमादेखि माघ शुक्ल पूर्णिमासम्म एक महिना विधिपूर्वक गरिने स्वस्थानी व्रत एवम् माघस्नान आजदेखि सुरु भएको छ ।

पौष शुक्ल पूर्णिमादेखि माघ शुक्ल पूर्णिमासम्म एक महिना स्वस्थानी व्रत र माघ स्नान गरिन्छ । पौष शुक्ल चतुर्दशीको दिन हात गोडाका नङ काटी स्नान गरी शुद्ध वस्त्र पहिरिएर यसको सुरवात हुन्छ ।

बिहान माघ स्नान गरी नित्य मध्याह्नकालमा महादेवको पूजा गरिन्छ । बेलुकी स्कन्द पुराणको केदार खण्डअन्तर्गत माघ माहात्म्यको कुमार अगस्त्यबीच संवाद भएको स्वस्थानी व्रत कथा सुन्ने सुनाउने परम्परा छ ।
आजैदेखि एक महिनासम्म काठमाण्डौको उत्तरपूर्वी भेगमा रहेको साँखुको शालीनदीमा माघस्नानसहित माधवनारायणको मेला हुनेगर्छ । प्राचीनकालदेखि लाग्दै आएको मेलामा यस वर्ष भने कोरोनाका कारण धेरै चहलपहल नहुने भएको छ ।

२९ वटा डमरुलाई जन्म दिने ‘कलरवाली’ को मृत्यु!!

संसारको सबैभन्दा बढी पटक तस्बिर खिचिएको बाघको रूपमा चर्चित ‘कलरवाली’ को मृत्यु भएको छ । भारतको मध्य प्रदेशस्थित पेन्च टाइगर रिजर्भको यो बघिनी १७ वर्षको उमेरमा प्राकृतिक कारणले मृत्यु भएको हो ।

यो बघिनीले आफ्नो जीवनकालमा २९ वटा डमरुको जन्म दिएकी थिई। बाघको संख्या वृद्धिमा ठूलो योगदान पुर्‍याएकी यो बघिनीलाई ‘सुपर-मम’ को ट्याग दिइएको थियो।

सन् २००८ देखि २०१८ सम्म यो बघिनीले ८ पटकमा २९ वटा डमरुको जन्म दिएकी रिजर्भका अधिकारीहरुले जनाएका छन्। शनिबार मृत्यु भएको यो बघिनीलाई अन्तिम श्रद्धाञ्जली दिनका लागि सयौंको संख्यामा मानिसहरु उपस्थित भएका थिए। बघिनी अन्तिम पटक जनवरी १४ मा देखिएकी थिई। टाइगर रिजर्भले बघिनीको मृत्यु शनिबार साँझ ६:१५मा रहेको जनाएको छ।

लेकम १ दार्चुलाको `समृद्धि र खुसियाली´ नजिक ल्याउन एमाले सरकार बहुमतमा ल्याउन अनिवार्य !!

बिर सिहं बिस्ट,
लेकम १ सर्मोली दार्चुलाको हाल हेर्ने हो भने आफैलाइ दिक्क लाग्छ,त्यहाका किसान देखि युवा र युवती सम्मका विशेष प्राय बेरोजगार नै छन।कारण त्यहका नेताहरुको कमि।
नेताहरु प्राय त्यहाका चुनाव जितेपछी डाडाको चाैरमा दिनभरी घाम ताप्न वा चाया बस्न बाहेक संबंधित कार्यालयको रेखदेख गर्न बाहेक अन्य कुनै हितको प्रणालीमा लागि परेका देखिनन्न।भने- यसो गर्दा यो प्रणालिले नेताको घर चलाउने एउटा ब्यवसाय मात्र भयो।अब जनताले के समृद्धि पाए त?

एमाले सरकार छदा गाउमा रोड आएकै हो,र भवन आएकै हुन,तर त्यो पनि सन्तुष्ट हुने काम भएन। जहापनी बिगार्ने राजनीति बाहेक अन्य केही हितको सुरेली सुनिन्न।अझै हेर्ने हो भने चुनाव जितिसकेपछी जि महोदय बिजेताहरु रागो पाल्दै गाउभरी डुल्न बाहेक अन्य केही गर्न नसक्ने पनि छन।यो प्रणालिले त्यहाका युवाहरुको भाग्य र भबिस्य अझै कमजोर तुच्छ हुने भयो।
बित्थड, छेडेसाल, दुरकाडा , सिराड ,गाजरी,कोठार, बण्डोली,लगायत अन्य गाउको जनतालाइ पानीसम्म पिउन कठिन छ।त्यो कठिनाइ बारे काग्रेसी नेताहरु मुख खोल्न मरे मान्दैनन,कहिलेकाही सम्बन्धित सरकारले कुनै राहत वा नौला बिकासबादी तत्वहरु दर्साउन खोज्दा जि योजना पनि नेताकै आफन्त वा चाकडिबाज बाहेकले पाउने कुरा भएन।यो बाट उनिहरुमा आफन्तबादीको दुर्गन्ध पनि आयो।एमाले सरकार छदा आएको रोड र भवनहरु बारे कुरा चाल्ने हो भने त्यसमा पनि महोदय काग्रेसी नेताहरुको कमि नै छ।किनभने गाउको वडामा काग्रेस सत्तामा थियोे ।मैले भन्नुको तात्पर्य योहोकी रोड प्रणालीमा स्थानीय तहले कुनै बिग्य र सुलभ प्रणाली अपनाएन,त्यसोहुदा रोडको हालत अहिले गाई गोरु हिड्न नसक्ने अवस्था छ। त्यहाका नेताहरुमा बिकासतिर भन्दा गुटबन्दी र भाडभैलो गराउने प्राबधान अपनाउन बाहेक अन्य खुसहालिका लहरहरु हेर्नै सक्दैनन् । मत प्राप्त गर्न पैसाले जनता किन्ने प्रणाली काग्रेसको बसांणु गुन नै हो।

त्यहा नभएको केही छैन ।प्राकृति सुन्दरताले भरिपुर्ण नदिनाला हरियो जगंल तथा अन्य कयौ श्रोतहरु छ्न।बाख्रा पालन देखि कुखुरा पालन पनि गर्न सकिन्छ।तर नेताहरुले यो बिसयमा कुनै हितको कदम उठाएन।
